Rebecca Chrystal

Rebecca’s tenure at Raising a Reader, which began in 2010, has spanned over 14 years. As the Managing Director of Programs & Partnerships, she oversees RAR’s Community of Practice, Curriculum Development, Book Collection Curation, Publisher Relationships, and Partnerships. Prior to her role at RAR, Rebecca was the Director of Literacy Services for Reading Is Fundamental, where she led Curriculum Development, Book Collection Curation, and Training Programs. Her career started as a Special Education teacher in Baltimore, MD. Rebecca’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Education from Towson University and a Master of Science in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University.
