Nicole Boone

Nicole Boone is a dedicated and accomplished educational leader with over 15 years of experience in instructional leadership, special education, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Family and Community Engagement Department at Henrico County Public Schools, Nicole has been instrumental in developing strategic plans to enhance communication between schools and families, fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment.

Nicole’s extensive background includes her roles as a principal and assistant principal, where she worked to improve academic performance, built staff capacity, and collaborated with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes for students and families. She has a proven track record of developing and implementing effective instructional strategies, behavior management plans, and professional development programs for educators.

With a strong foundation in special education, Nicole has held various positions, including exceptional education program coordinator, special education department chair, and resource teacher. She has successfully managed special education programs, ensured compliance with regulations, and facilitated meetings to support students with diverse needs.

Nicole holds a Post-Master’s Certification in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, an M.A.T. in Special Education from Trinity University, and a B.A. in Political Science from Hampton University.
