Lisa K. Kerry is a native of Chesapeake, VA. She is a graduate of Hampton University where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Education, she also has an Administration and Supervision K-12 endorsement from Old Dominion University. As an educator with Chesapeake Public Schools for the past 24 years, Ms. Kerry has served in a variety of capacities including classroom teacher, Technology Integration Specialist where she was selected as the Teacher of the Year in 2010, and currently as Family & Community Engagement Specialist.
Ms. Kerry has also presented at several national conferences including the National Title I Distinguished School Conference and National School Public Relations Association Conference and the National Family Engagement Conference. She continues to create meaningful partnerships with the communities and families, while providing a support system for parents within the school setting.
