Ambria King

Ambria King is a passionate early educator and early education advocate. She leads with determination to make early education accessible to all families. With over fifteen years of experience, she is a former Pre-K teacher, K-12 special educator, and curriculum developer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and Communication, a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education, and is a current doctoral student at Baylor University studying children’s media. Her previous research concentrations have included infant development, special education, and social and emotional learning. Within her role at Georgia Public Broadcasting, she manages the execution of the Ready to Learn Initiative, working in targeted communities across Georgia and sharing PBS KIDS resources with early childhood educators, young learners, and families.
