Leveraging the Power of Families to Combat Illiteracy

This session will explain LINC’s community literacy model and our spotlight program VIP , which stands for Very Involved Parent. By activating the most impactful components of a community LINC is able to create literacy movements in communities that create change. LINC supports communities hardest hit by the illiteracy crisis by providing families with workshops and 11 programs that teach families to raise readers from birth-5 years of age with practices aligned to
the science of reading.
