Seth Knight is a seasoned leader with over 15 years of experience in family and community engagement, connecting schools, families, and community partners to support student success. As a Specialist with Henrico County Public Schools’ Division of Family & Community Engagement, Seth works across schools to cultivate resource-rich environments, strengthen family partnerships, and align engagement efforts with the division’s broader community school vision.
His career spans both public education and nonprofit sectors, including leadership roles with Richmond Public Schools, the Harlem Children’s Zone, Communities In Schools, and Storefront for Community Design. A former therapist, Seth brings a deep understanding of people, systems, and the power of active listening—skills that serve him well in rooms filled with students, families, and stakeholders. His work centers on systems change, cross-sector collaboration, and elevating family and student voice.
Seth holds an M.A. in Psychology from The New School and a B.A. from California State University, Northridge.
