Jessica Buzhardt

Jessica Buzhardt is Lexington County School District One’s Coordinator of Early Childhood and Family Engagement. Prior to this position, she was the District’s Literacy Specialist. Jessica holds a Masters degree in Technology and Instruction, taught elementary school for more than a decade, and was named 2011-12 Teacher of the Year at Rocky Creek Elementary School. Jessica has also been recognized for her work in enhancing 4K programs in Lexington One. She is a recipient of the 2019 SC Education Oversight Committee’s Community Block Grant with a focus on children’s readiness for kindergarten, which was implemented at Pelion Elementary School. She was also a 2023 Riley Institute SCALE fellow.
