Dr. Stacy Ashton

I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and attended public school in Prince George’s County. I received my undergraduate degree from Towson University, my graduate degree from Howard University, my certification in Administration and Supervision from Hood College, and my doctoral degree from Argosy University. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, dancing, shopping, reading, and spending time with my family. I have been an educator for 25 years; twelve of those years in MCPS as a classroom teacher, staff developer, and administrator. I live in Prince George’s County with my husband, two girls and two dogs. I am excited to be a part of the Stonegate community and looking forward to a successful school year!
