Dr. Sandy Chafouleas is a licensed psychologist with specialty training in school psychology. Dr. Chafouleas is co-creator of the award-winning Feel Your Best Self toolkit, which brings credibility, accessibility, creativity, and joy to learning about emotion-coping. As a scholar, her primary foci include social, emotional, and behavioral promotion; evaluating response to well-being supports; and understanding influences on use of particular strategies. Dr. Chafouleas regularly serves as a national presenter and invited speaker, and has received awards including an American Psychological Association Presidential citation. Dr. Chafouleas is a Distinguished Professor in the Neag School of Education, and co-director of the Collaboratory on School and Child Health, at the University of Connecticut.
