Danielle Wilson-Saddler

Instructional Specialist
Montgomery County Public Schools

Danielle Wilson-Saddler is a dedicated and accomplished education professional with a strong background in instructional leadership, family engagement, and program coordination. With over two decades of experience with Montgomery County Public Schools, she currently plays a pivotal role in advancing Maryland’s community school initiatives and supporting family-school partnerships across the district.

Danielle currently supports Community School Liaisons in conducting comprehensive needs assessments, organizing and coordinating school steering committees, and leading program implementation in alignment with the Maryland State Department of Education’s Blueprint for Maryland’s Future. Her work ensures that schools are equipped to address the academic and social emotional well-being of students through collaborative, data-driven strategies.

For over 15 years Danielle led the Parent Academy, an innovative family engagement program focused on building parents capacity to support student achievement. Danielle managed all aspects of the program including coordinating facilitators and presenters, developing content, managing day-to-day operations, setting strategic goals, and documenting progress to ensure continuous improvement. Under Danielle’s leadership, the Parent Academy positively impacted over ten thousand Montgomery County families. Danielle was recognized by Common Sense Media as a leader and innovator in family and community engagement and participated in their nationwide Quarterly Family Engagement Cohort meetings.

Her commitment to student well-being was further demonstrated through her leadership of the Neediest Kids program. This program provides essential resources such as clothing, eye exams, eyeglasses, and personal care items for students in elementary and secondary schools. With the support of numerous community partners, Neediest Kids provides services for over 500 families each academic year.

Recognized for her professionalism and sound judgment, Danielle was appointed by the Superintendent to serve on the Montgomery County Public School Peer Assistance and Review Panel (PAR). In this role, she reviewed confidential cases of new and underperforming employees and provided recommendations to the Office of Human Resources and Development regarding transfers and employment status.

Danielle is the proud mother of three daughters, and her hobbies include reading and traveling.
