Rachel Gonsalves is a passionate and multilingual advocate for educational equity, with over seven years of experience in Family and Community Engagement in public education. She currently serves as a Community School Resource Coordinator with Henrico County Public Schools, working within the Division of Family and Community Engagement to support students and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. She brings a deep cultural awareness and a strong commitment to equity in education, ensuring that linguistically diverse students and their families have access to the resources and the support they need to thrive.

Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Modern Foreign Languages, which has shaped her holistic and inclusive approach to community engagement. Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Youth Development Leadership, she is focused on equipping multilingual youth with essential life and leadership skills to confidently navigate the American school system. Rachel’s work is grounded in the belief that strong family, school, and community connections are essential to student success. Her passion and expertise make her a powerful voice in the field of family and community engagement.
